Family Information

The current innkeepers of this North Carolina inn - Kathryn and Gary Scott - are new to this business. Kathryn comes from a background of interior design and sales management. Gary works in the accounting / controller area of an international company.

They have two grown sons and a large family spread out across the country. After moving 12 times, the Scott's have now settled in Elizabeth City and plan to stay. They enjoy meeting their guests and getting to know them on a personal level. The Culpepper Inn is a perfect venue for a beautiful bed and breakfast and the Scott's feel very fortunate to have found it.

The Inn itself was converted to a bed and breakfast in 1993 and has been available to host intimate weddings and family reunions as well as providing lodging accommodations for romantic getaways and vacations.
